The partnership aims to combine Sagri’s expertise in satellite imagery and AI-driven agricultural analysis with FL 360’s deep local knowledge and networks in Sub-Saharan Africa, in order to deliver scalable solutions that empower smallholder farmers and improve productivity in the region.
Objectives of the Collaboration
Through this MOU, both companies will:
Develop digital tools to support farming communities and enhance productivity
Introduce precision agriculture methods to reduce farmers’ burden and improve sustainability
Promote agricultural digitalization to accelerate positive transformation in African agriculture
Next Steps
The collaboration will begin with pilot projects in South Africa, with the ambition to scale across the country and into other African regions.
